A Time for Optimism
Optimism is the byword for today. For Democrats in the United States, optimism is the feeling that we should all share. We just picked up another congressional seat in New York in a special election, and we’re very excited about it.
The New Jobs Numbers
The new jobs numbers are out, and I really want to talk about this for just a second. Last month, 353,000 new jobs were added. With upward revisions in terms of total jobs, that’s 479,000 new jobs altogether. Over the last six months, we’ve added almost a million jobs. And here’s the good news: there are 1.3 jobs available per unemployed person, way above historic norms.
The prime-age worker participation rate is above pre-pandemic levels. The US continues to experience one of the strongest labor markets in modern American history. This is Joe Biden at work, the best since the 1960s. A majority of Americans have never been alive in a job market this strong and robust.

I want to run an ad for you here that the Biden administration, the Biden campaign, I should say, has just put out. It’s a new ad and it’s talking about Donald Trump turning his back on NATO.

Conclusion
I hope you like that ad, folks. I think it’s going to be indicative of more to come on behalf of the Biden campaign. We’re not going to pull punches. We’re in a fight with Donald Trump and the folks over there at MAGA-Land, and we’re going to stand up, we’re going to show the truth.
We’re going to put out real numbers. 353,000 new jobs last month. 1.3 jobs for every unemployed person. So get out there and get involved.
